Privacy Policy Scheduling appointments Please keep in mind that appointments should be on a rotating schedule of 2,4,6 and 8 week cycles. Each dog and breed is different and some require a lot of up-keep. It’s always best to schedule and book your next appointment while I'm at your home. It allows both of us to review the needs of your dog and eliminates the need for you to call at a later date and run the risk of me not having an opening. When you schedule your next appointment, I will leave you with a "paw print" sticker for your calendar. If you’re not going to be home during your scheduled appointment, please let me know how I will be able to get to your dog and also leave me a note of how many weeks ahead you would like to schedule your next appointment. I do my best to arrive as close to your scheduled time as possible, normally I arrive 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time. There are times when I do run late, if I am going to be more than 15 minutes late I will call and let you know. CancellationsI will be enforcing the 48 hour cancellation policy. As a courtesy to everyone, I’m asking anyone that needs to cancel a scheduled appointment, to do so at least 48 hours ahead of time. This will allow me to rearrange appointments if needed. More importantly, I always have a list of clients waiting for "A Day In The Doghouse" and your canceled appointment may make room for one more dog. Please note, there will be a $25.00 fee charged if a cancellation is less then 48hours. This fee can be mailed or paid prior to your dogs next grooming. I am aware in everyones life there are times that we need to cancel appts. I am asking for 48 hrs (unless of course a emergency occurs). This is simply so that I can adjust my appt. book or call the people on my waiting list. There is a $25 fee for appts that are not canceled 48 hours prior. Please cancel all appts by leaving a message on my answering service NOT BY EMAIL Missed AppointmentsIn the event I arrive at your home for your dogs scheduled grooming and you’re not at home. You will be charged a $50.00 missed appointment fee. This fee also must be mailed or paid prior to your next scheduled grooming appointment. Sales TaxAll grooming services are subject to New Jersey sales tax and will be added to all grooming service prices. Winter WeatherDuring the winter months, bad weather seems to be very unpredictable and my van is not very good in the snow. If the weather is a problem, I will call you as early as possible in the morning and wait to see if the weather will clear up, if not we will reschedule another appointment. Winter HoursDuring the winter months of December through March I only schedule appointments for 4 days a week. The reason for this is to have a make-up day in the event of bad weather. During the winter months the first morning appointment will be 8:00 am and the last appointment will be 5:00 pm. Summer HoursSummer months are April through November and my first appointment in the morning is 7:00 am the last appointment will be 7:00 pm. I also schedule appointments on Saturday mornings usually only one Saturday a month so please book ahead. Doghouse Service AreaThe Doghouse service area is Hunterdon County, north of Flemington and east of Clinton. Portions of Somerset County including the areas around Bernardsville, Basking Ridge, Bridgewater and Raritan. Also portions of Morris County including the areas around Chester, Peapack and Gladstone. |
